Hi, I’m Shayal Karwa-Moricca, founder of Future Forward Sports. My mission is to create equal access to sports for all boys and girls in all circumstances, no matter what. I created this organization because sports mean so much to me. I have gained confidence from playing sports. I’ve built friendships and built skills I’ll use throughout my life through sports like what it means to lose, pick myself up again and how hard work can pay off. 

I know I am lucky to be in my circumstances. I think it’s unfair that someone would not have access to the things that have made me who I am. One day, I decided that from here on out, I want to try my best so kids would have the same access to sports that I have by having the right equipment. I knew there were a lot of people like me who have equipment they weren’t using and there were a lot of people who didn’t have equipment who needed it. I decided to try and connect those people.  I’m hoping to make a big impact on many childrens’ lives. I hope the people who donate get the beautiful feeling of having made a difference in someone else’s life even if they don’t know them.
